Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

This policy explains how NexusWave Technologies Ltd ("NexusWave", "we", "us") collects and uses your personal data. We are the data controller. If you are in the UK or the EU, you have rights under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, and this policy is written to respect them.

Who we are

NexusWave Technologies Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 13478291), at 1 Fulbourn Rd, Cherry Hinton, Cambridge CB1 9JL, United Kingdom. You can reach us at [email protected].

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us — name and email — when you message us or sign up for a quiz result.
  • Account and billing data if you take a NexusPass subscription, processed through our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Tool inputs such as the game and build details you submit to the AI tools, used to generate your recommendations.
  • Analytics data only if you accept analytics cookies — see our Cookie Policy.

Why we use it (legal bases)

  • To provide the service — performance of a contract, when you use the tools or buy from us.
  • To reply to you — our legitimate interest in answering your messages.
  • To send optional emails — your consent, which you can withdraw any time.
  • To meet legal duties — for example keeping order records for tax.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose above, or as long as the law requires. Quiz-only contacts are removed if you unsubscribe and have no account with us.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run NexusWave — payment processing, email delivery, hosting — under contracts that require them to protect it. We do not sell your data. Some providers may process data outside the UK or EU; where they do, we rely on approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or your local EU supervisory authority.

Children

NexusWave is not aimed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell account holders by email.
